In all of my work I take a strengths-based approach, rooted in the positive psychology practices I learned while earning my MAPP degree at UPenn with Dr. Martin Seligman and other luminaries in the field. I also draw on my real-world experience as a lawyer-under-pressure in NYC and DC, a parent and member of the sandwich generation, as well as my experience teaching yoga, stress-management and resilience skills.

1 Important Year® Life Design
We don’t need to wait for a milestone birthday, a diagnosis, January 1, or a new job, house or lover to make any year an important year.
I’ve distilled the scientific research on meaning, fulfillment, purpose and habit change into practical, evidence-based tools and practices we can draw on to make any year an important one. Your 1 Important Year will involve tiny tweaks, not big upheavals, because meaning is seen, built and generated through our daily actions and choices.
The first month we will work together to craft a 1 Important Year® plan aligned with your values, strengths and desires using an evidence-based framework I developed at UPenn. Months 2-11 you will implement the plan, focusing on a different source of meaning each month, based on the customized plan we developed in month 1. Month 12 will be a time for wrap-up, reflection, and charting your path forward.

In this 6 session program you will learn and practice evidence-based resilience skills, applying them to adversities big and small that you face in your own work and life.
The Mighty Sandwich
This one is for all you heroes juggling demanding work, raising kids, and taking care of aging parents - all while trying to preserve your sanity, deliver results at work, and lead with love. I’ve been there, done that, and I applaud you for the incredibly important and largely invisible tasks you shoulder. It can be lonely, and I’m on your side. Not just cheering for you, but listening, coaching, and offering practical evidence-based tools that can be implemented on the fly, because who has time for big, complicated interventions?
